David Suarez is an indie pop artist from the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Born and raised just on the outskirts of the city, Laplace, David discovered his passion for music at a young age, singing in the church since he was 5 years old. He attended the prestigious New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) for vocal training during high school. After graduation, David went on to attend Full Sail University in 2016 to study music production for a year, but he ultimately decided to return to New Orleans to pursue his music career in his hometown.

David does it all; he is a singer, songwriter, producer, and also mixes and masters all his own music. Drawing inspiration from the soulful sounds of his hometown and the pop icons he grew up listening to, David honed his craft as a versatile artist and producer. Influenced by the sounds and aesthetics of the 2000s and y2k era, David's music combines nostalgic elements with a fresh and modern approach. His biggest inspirations are artists like the Jon Bellion, Jonas Brothers, COIN, and Frank Ocean, who have all had an impact on his music and style.

David is bringing back the big hooks and songs that feel larger than life. With his unique blend of Pop, R&B, and Alternative, David quickly gained a following for his catchy, heartfelt songs. David has just released his highly anticipated new EP, Heartbreak Anonymous. Known for blending pop, R&B, and alternative sounds, David takes listeners on an emotional journey with this seven-track project, which explores the seven stages of grief, starting with the pain of heartbreak up to the complex healing process that follows. In 2022, he released his debut EP, BIG BOYS DO CRY!, a personal exploration of love and self-discovery that highlighted his skills as an artist and producer. 

David has continued to build his fanbase, releasing new music and collaborating with other artists in the indie pop world. His music has been featured on popular playlists and radio stations like WWOZ, earning critical acclaim for its soulful, catchy sound.
